NEW YORK, NY, December 2, 2020 -- Famer, the sports coaching and mentorship mobile platform, announced today that it is expanding its landmark partnership with the NBPA with the launch of NBPA Training Ground One. Through the NBPA’s Training Ground channel on Famer, youth athletes will now have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one personal training sessions and receive feedback from some of the best basketball coaches and trainers in the world.

The Commit to C.A.R.E Now Initiative will showcase, honor and celebrate the humanity of Black men while addressing a number of issues such as public safety, safe and fair voting, community engagement and the accurate portrayal of Black men in media.

NEW YORK, NY, September 22, 2020 – As players use this season restart as a platform to bring attention to social justice and racial inequality, the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) in partnership with Champion Athleticwear and DoorDash, is inviting fans to take The Pledge as a commitment to drive voter participation and civic engagement. In taking the pledge, fans will have an opportunity to choose an action item(s) from the NBPA’s The Pledge list to ensure their voting eligibility ahead of the 2020 election. Action items include but are not limited to, checking your voter registration status, completing a voter registration form and requesting an absentee ballot.

NEW YORK, NY, August 20, 2020 – The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and Five-Star Basketball announced today that they will collaborate to host a 3-day virtual basketball camp from August 24-26. Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the virtual camp is designed to help boys and girls from ages 9-17 develop their skills both on and off the court without leaving their homes.

LOS ANGELES – January 16, 2020 - Genies, Inc., an innovative digital avatar company that recently announced the world's first Avatar Agency and launched its platform on all social media and chat platforms (currently ranks as #2 worldwide in the Social Networking category), has completed a deal with the NBPA. The partnership will allow all NBA players access into the Genies Avatar Agency and integrate the NBA players’ likenesses into the Genies consumer app.

NEW YORK, NY (September 24, 2019) – The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) via its commercial arm, NBPI, today announced a multiyear agreement with The Brandr Group (TBG) to develop business opportunities for current NBA players in the collegiate space. TBG will serve as the NBPA’s agency of record to represent NBA player group licensing rights across all categories for collegiate co-branded licensing opportunities.

NEW YORK, NY, June 20 2019 – The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and THINK450 announced a partnership today with Hanesbrands Inc. that will recognize Champion as the official sport style partner of the union. With this new multiyear partnership, Champion will develop, manufacture and provide apparel for NBPA camps and clinics as well as apparel items including shirts, hoodies, pants and other goods that bear NBPA marks. NBPA branded items will be made for sale at select retail locations.
